This week’s summary 
Monday - I attended a Sign Language event, voted on the finance settlement for Local Government and policing, providing more money for West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council. 
Tuesday - I met with the Chancellor about the budget, held a Q&A with Cadbury Sixth Form and Parliament approved new emergency counter terrorism legislation. 
Wednesday - It was the weekly PMQs which was lively followed by voting for the Environment Bill. 
Thursday- I held resident meetings followed by attending The Project AGM, and the Northfield Ward Forum on North Worcestershire Golf Course 
Friday - started the day visiting the Edge Academy which was a really good insight into the great work that they are doing. In the afternoon I spoke to students about life as a new backbench MP followed by a meeting with the organisers of B30 foodbank, seeing the work they do at Cotteridge church. 
Saturday - I was out delivering my thank you leaflets with a team of volunteers in Northfield 
Today I was with family and have just arrived in London for the week ahead.
