A message from Gary Sambrook MP
Thousands of people across our area volunteer yearly. But with the Covid-19 crisis even more people have.
The community has come together. Whether it is to help neighbours. Or volunteering at the local food banks. People are giving up their precious time to help the community.
I have had the pleasure to meet a few when helping at local food banks and groups in the past few months.
As a little way to give back, I will be writing thank you notes to people nominated by local residents.
You can nominate someone you know who is from Birmingham Northfield and has given up their time volunteering and you think they would like a special thank you from me, your local MP.
When this is over and life is semi-functioning again I will look at doing tours for community groups in parliament as well to say thank you.
